Groups
Our community centre is busy every day….
A full complement of uniformed organisations for all ages from 5 to 18 meet weekly. Members take part in everything that is available to boys and girls in the Scout and Guide movements. Outdoor activities, badge work, parades and gang shows ensure a challenging programme of fun and learning for children of all ages.
Our popular parent and toddler group meets once a week and parents enjoy a relaxing hour or two of chat and play, drinks and biscuits in two of our downstairs rooms. Many children move on from toddlers to the local authority play group and other school clubs for before and after the school day that meet on the site.
On Sunday evenings our Christian Youth Group, C3 (that stands for Christ’s Crazy Club!) meet to enjoy a rotating programme of spiritual, fun and downright silly activities for teenagers from the age of 12.
For those of a more grown up disposition, Men’s supper club, Tuesday Group and Wednesday Fellowship all meet monthly, offering a varied programme of social activities, food and interesting speakers.
Last, but by no means least, we have a handful of different prayer- and house-groups that meet in people’s houses regularly for prayer, discussion and fellowship.
